Samsung × Biffy Clyro “Flammable”

The official video for Biffy Clyro’s “Flammable”, made for Samsung UK and Warner Music UK - the first VR music video by a British band. The band is inside a transparent box, with pyrotechnics and lasers around it, filmed by 47 cameras, drones and 360° rigs.

Our part was the lasers and the laser programming for the shoot. Only that - there is no LED in this production, and the pyrotechnics were another team’s. The lasers are filmed up close: by 360° cameras on the floor of the set, by a drone and by a handheld camera inside the box. Every take - the same beam in the same place, so the takes cut together.
